Which SUP Board to Buy
1. Choose Your SUP Board By Weight and Height
The first priority is to make sure your SUP board can support your weight. That way, you’ll be able to balance easily. Make sure you factor in any extra weight that will be on your board, such as an extra person or any gear you’ll be carrying.
If you weigh 150 lb or less, you can opt for a 9ft SUP board. If you’re above that, look for something longer. At Decathlon, we make it easy by providing a weight range for each model.
The next thing to consider is your height. A general rule is that your SUP board should be around 10 inches taller than you. Follow this rule, and you’ll be fine.
